Dark, clear. Large, light beige head, good retention.
Nose has plastery mineral, tasteful (light) amounts of dark malt adding only a hint of roast and toast. Utterly clean, yet not sterile with a good yeastiness to it and crisp, herbal and spicy hopping that is also tastefully-done. Very minimal chocolate. Mostly base malt with just accents from the dark malts, which is difficult to do and done very well here.
In the mouth it's soft, almost chewy with tons of malt body yet high attenuation. Crisp yeast, herbal hops, appropriate, not-overdone bitterness and only the aforementioned accents of chocolate, roast, toast, leaving light caramel and honey-like base malt character in its place.
