Imagine eating a chocolate pancake with maple syrup while drinking an Americano.
Starts off with dessert-like aromas of maple syrup, vanilla, and dark chocolate notes. Follows through with a complex but smooth malt profile with dark chocolate, espresso beans, raisins, dark caramel and toasted bread.
Bitterness is medium but enough to support the sweetness. Medium oak character from bourbon, rye whisky, and maple syrup barrels comes through to help add structure to palate.

Bottle shared at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. A clear mahogany brown coloured pour with a halo go light tan head. Aroma is sticky brown sugars, cinnamon, brown sugars, meaty roast, spicy, flavour is composed of semi sweet, oily, minty, brown sugars, cinnamon, honey, burnt sugars.

Bottleshare at CBJ. Thanks to Tips. Semi opaque dark brown beer, decent tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Mellow and slightly thin malts, a little toffee, mild dark chocolate. Robust bourbon soaked fruits. Spicy and boozy. Unapologetic and good fun.

Bottle from Brewcraft on S birthday in 2022. Bottle 185 something out of 720. Pours solid black with almost zero head and no carbonation. Aroma is huge chocolate mocha maple wood and booze. Taste is rich milk chocolate, bourbon and oak, vanilla, sort of like an almond milk flavor on the finish. Quite sweet with the maple syrup but just shy of cloying I think. Palate is not super heavy but the lack of carbonation makes it feel heavier. Milkiness comes through. Very nice.
