Tap at Globe after hike on long weekend. Translucent/transparent bright copper amber pour with sticky thin white head. Aroma is dank juicy boozy candy pine, some light tropical fruit, mango. Yum. Taste is huge dank pine bitterness with a lot of sweet biscuit malt. Leads to a sharp bitter sweet finish with lots of alcohol. Palate is on the rich side, a tiny bit syrupy but not at all too much. Still some mild carbonation. Sharp west coast pine bitterness throughout. Very very good. Had several cans and taps subsequently. Including once tried next to Stone’s Japanese Green Tea IPA. Makes this one’s bright citrus and candy pine more evident. Really fantastic. Raised 4.0–>4.4 - maybe best beer from HK yet???
