Named 72 Tenants, our newest IPA is inspired by the bitter struggles faced by everyday Hongkongers in dealings with their landlords. Just like its namesake story, this beer is an ode to the underdog and their resilience. With a bright, floral nose, we spiked it with grapefruit peels to give it an extra zesty hit. With a finish is as bracingly bitter as your landlord, for a few moments, a pint of this might feel almost as good as rent relief. As the Chinese saying goes, all of us have had to "eat a lot of bitterness" this year. In that spirit lets embrace the satisfying bitterness of this IPA. We are sure it will ultimately come with rewards.

Crowler from YM. Clear dark amber pour with puffy fine white head. Aroma is a bit dull - some mild grapefruit and bready malt. Had two crowlers and both similar. Maybe not that fresh but had not long after the Second Draft closing (😢) for which it was brewed. Taste is better with a solid grapefruit bitterness and strong sweet bready malt finish. Palate is light. Surprisingly disappointing, especially alongside Jeng or 1842, other YM IPAs.
