This is a hop focused and fruit forward DIPA. Dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin, Motueka and Pacifica which help give it a little dankness with orange blossom and pine on aroma. Citrus and grapefruit on the palate with a resinous hoppy finish leaving you craving more.

Can from Citysuper at home - had many times when fresh but this tasting now ~4 months after canning. Slightly translucent medium yellow orange pour with sudsy fine white head. Aroma is west coast-y with pine, grapefruit pith, some slight metallic notes. I think even better when it was fresher of course. Taste is huge pine bitter bite up front, grapefruit, some sweeter biscuit malt, some lime (I wouldn’t have expected and was surprised to see that written on the can but it’s there). The combo of pine and grapefruit and biscuit is classic and very well done here, though it uses a less common hop combo for this style I think. Palate has fine carbonation that yields a smooth slightly fluffy feeling. Finish has a bit of tingly bitterness and biscuit bite. This style of west coast DIPA always one of my first favorite beer types, and this doesn’t disappoint.
