500ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with small to average, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, caramel malty and slightly roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of coffee, pumpernickel, toffee. Taste is sweet-ish caramel malty, slightly roasty, dark malty, notes of toffee, coffee, a touch of burnt caramel, some bitter hop. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Intense, but a tad artificial and monotonous - OK.

50 cl bottle poured in to a Snifter. Near black with a dense tanned head. Sweet aroma with brown cookies, coffee, toffee, and a herbal hoppy note. Subtle alcohol dense. The taste is sweet. Full body. Lingering sweet finish with dark malts. Nice - could use some more aggressive hops bite to balance the sweetness.
