24-05-19 // on tap at Rotbart Berlin. Unclear amber. Cara forward. Malty sweet with caramel and some nut touches. Smooth. A little Ale like. Low bitterness.

From tap. Pours clear and golden deep amber to orange. Small off white head. Aroma is sweet, toasted and slight breadish. Toasted and grainy. Bitter and slight herbal. Dry and toasted finish.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and slight grassy. Toasted. Bitter and grassy. Toasted and dry malty, bitter far finish.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, copper-ish brown colour with average, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, off-white head. Mellow malty aroma, a minimally tart-ish, tannic touch of sour black cherry. Taste is slightly dry, oaky, tannic, a touch of morello; light body, quite watery throughout, slightly diluted, sherbet-like finish.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20170810) The beer poured deep golden and nearly clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, caramel and sourness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, sourness, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A weak and infected brew.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, amber colour with a loose and off-white foamy head. Slightly toasted and minimally oaky malty aroma with traces of caramel and sour fruity notes, showing an early infection. Sour and moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Slightly grainy and delicately toasty malty notes with a sour fruity touch; slightly acidic and tart finish with traces of caramel. Not good. 15.VII.17

Draft at SOPP Helsinki 2017. Hazy dark amber color white head. Aroma of burnt toast, dark fruit. Taste is earthy fruit. OK.

33cl bottle. Trübes orange goldenes Bier mit mittelgroßen leicht beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach leicht säuerlichen roten Früchten, Karamell. Geschmack nach rotem malz, karamellig, leicht hopfig, rote Früchte.
