Could You Calculate The... IPA Beer Series

CYCT Coupling is a double IPA with some unique ingredients. In physics, “coupling” means bringing different elements together to create something new and powerful. For this DIPA, we used the special Waimea hops from New Zealand, which give off a fresh pine forest vibe and a zesty citrus kick. Nelson Sauvin hops add notes of white wine and passion fruit, and a good dose of Citra Cryo brings an extra refreshing touch. This DIPA is fermented with the new Pomona yeast, which ties everything together with a nice tropical balance. We've also tweaked our malt recipe to make this IPA taste even better. What do you think? Cheers!

Hops: Nelson Sauvin, Waimea & Citra Cryo
Hybrid Yeast: Lalbrew Pomona, offers a unique flavor w/ hints of peach, citrus, & tropical fruits.

A light yellow and totally murky, a head is big and white. Aroma has fructose, orange, light mango. Taste has lots of fructose, also some bitterness to balancing the strong sweetness, grapefruit. Medium bodied. Even there are lots of sweetness, still fresh enough. Pretty nice.

Can at the Pivska Školica 2025. Hazy darker yellow body, off-white head. Mostly tropical fruity aroma, lightly citric, some papery notes, oxidation creeping in but not excessively so. Sweetish, lean tropical taste, somewhat sugary, low alcohol, cleanish maltiness, light honeyish oxidaiton notes, oaty slightly, relatively dry finish, very low bitter touches around it. Clearly not in the best of shapes, but I lucked into a less affected can, still in fairly good shape, listening to what our students caught. Slightly higher "overall" to be a bit fair, it IS at least 4 months old after all.

hazy yellow offwhite head.
truly amazing aroma, citrus fruity with a bit of malty depth and balance, hard to describe, really fresh hoppy juicy thing without becoming fruit juicy or bitter malty, boozy or bitter hoppy in a bad way. Not sure i remember when I lash had this awesomely well done aroma from dipa.
Flavor is malty, slightly milky, exotic fruity, sweet, well balanced and smooth but lacks some bitterness to meet my preferences. A lot less impressive than aroma, still a lot better than average, very rounded and smooth.
palate is super smooth, almost milkshake like.
At this ABV, this is a super dangerous beer.
