Cask (gravity) @ NWAF 2016, National Winter Ales Festival (2016), The Roundhouse, Pride Park, Derby, Derbyshire, England, DE24 8JE. [ As Neptune Brown Ale ].Clear medium brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted - toasted, caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, nutty, caramel, sweet malt, dusty, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160219]

Bradford Beer Festival 2016. Brown coloured with a glow. Has a sweet nose with a more crisp bitterness in taste.
