Cask @ GBBF 2016. Pours a dark amber orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel and dark fruit aroma. Fruity malty caramel and dark fruit flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel and dark fruit finish.

Cask (gravity) @ NWAF 2016, National Winter Ales Festival (2016), The Roundhouse, Pride Park, Derby, Derbyshire, England, DE24 8JE. [ As Wentwell Barrel Organ Blues ].Clear dark red brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, caramel, moderate UK yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, UK yeast, dark malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160219]

GraviCask, shared with Finn at Camra’s National Winter Ales Festival. Clear copper coloured body, missing head. Slightly roasted brown malty nose. Malt-fruity flavours with moments of caramel, oak, and earth. Dry bittersweet tail. Classic Brit bitter (The Roundhouse, Derby 19.02.2016).

Cask at NWAF, Derby, Thursday, 18th February 2016 Dark brown on the pour, a good bitter that had a solid maltiness throughout, hops a little bit quiet, but caramel, dark fruit and malt showing well. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

500ml bottle - had this sitting round for ages. so I thought with replenishment due, I’d go this one first. Deep cloudy copper look, ridiculously frothy white head, looks very healthy. Nose is malty, a bit of fruit, yeast also up there. Lively C02 in the body, taste is a bit thin mind you, and LOADS of sediment. Not bad, and could do a session on this.
