For our newest blonde ale we used 100% German Barke pilsner malt for a clean and crisp malt character. We then hopped it just enough to balance the malt sweetness with a pithy bitterness. Overall, Heart of Glass is pleasantly aromatic like a mai tai with notes of lime, pineapple and coconut from Citra, Southern Passion, Comet, Centennial and Motueka hops.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a very pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma is potent with citrus and background crackery/bready malts. The flavor is the same. Lime, grapefruit and crackers. A little spicy bitterness. Clean and light bodied. Great.
