This strong pale ale is dedicated to heavy metal icon Lemmy Kilmister who found eternal sleep on December 28, 2015. Hopped with Galaxy, Mosaic, Simcoe, and Comet, this hard-hitting pale ale is not for the faint of heart. We hope that Lemmy would approve... but he’d probably pour it out because it doesn’t have Jack Daniel’s in it. RIP Lemmy.

Draught at City Beer Store. Hazy yellow orange with small off white head that fades quickly to a dusting, but patterns nicely. Overt tangerine aroma. Thin mouthfeel leaves this beer a bit underwhelming after the aroma.

The beer is a pale yellow gold. It’s quite clear. Large nearly white head. Good retention. Some lacing. The aroma has a bunch of nice hop flavors. Big on citrus with some tropical fruitiness. Grapefruit, lime, tangerine, pineapple. Light peach and mild buttery note. Mild but pleasant malt sweetness underneath the hops. Moderate bitterness. Lots of grapefruit hop flavor in the taste. There’s a big peach sweet note that comes out as it warms. Lime peel. Light to medium body with some nice creamy oiliness. Mild astringency. Good stuff.

On tap at Cellarmaker. It pours a clear pale gold color with a white head. The aroma is rich with fruity grape, grapefruit, peach, a little dank and a hint of caramel. The flavor is clean and dry with grass, dank, grapefruit and a hint of white grape. Light bready malt with just a hint of caramel. Mostly dry and fruity. A good one. Lemmy would’ve hated it.
