On tap at the brewery in sf. Translucent golden. Orange coloured pour with a sticky white head. Aroma is nice tropical / lemon citrus hop, slight spicy, orange rind. Flavor is composed of spicy citrus, toasted pine, rubber, dirt. Palate is medium bodied, high carbonation, light hop resin. Light mouldy hop in the finish. Assertive rough hop bitterness.

This was labeled as Hopportunistic #2, but it is also a Citra APA, so Im guessing its the same beer just a different batch. It pours a lightly hazed orange color with an off white head. The aroma is nice and potent with big mango grapefruit and some floral hops. Strong. The flavor is the same. Very hoppy grapefruit notes and florals. A little hop spice and bitterness in the finish. Hints of tropical fruit and some honeyed malt, but not a lot. Pretty solid hop forward APA. A little more attenuation and it would approach Cellarmaker quality in terms of hop explosiveness. Well done.

Tap. Pours clear orange, small white head, decent lacing. Aroma is pot, tea, pine, melon. Pretty light overall. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter, tastes nothing like Citra, honestly. More vegetal, a bit pot like, no real citrus or tropical notes. Medium body. Odd.
