Tap at the brewery tap drakes dealership. Murky dark brown coloured pour with a lasting creamy head. Aroma is nice saison yeast, floral citrus, pineapple , petrol. Flavour is composed of light grains, doughy, lemon citrus, hint of rubber, grainy. Palate is light, slightly thin, grainy, low to moderate carbonation. Slightly under par. Blindfolded I would not be able to tell that this was a black beer. Little woody apple pip lingers.

On tap at Drakes. It pours a hazy brown color with a khaki head. The aroma is fruity with apple, pear, plum and hints of pepper and toast. The flavor is very peppery, mildly soapy and toasted. Lighter pear and plum notes. Pretty dry and highly attenuated. Good carbonation. Theres some good things going on here, but Im not sure the flavors all come together.
