Loaded with lots of fun new hops this Pale Ale is bursting with a unique tropical fruit character. Notes of kiwi-guava, white grapes and lemon peel. Hopped with a plentiful amount of HBC-344, Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin and Motueka.

Really cool hop profile on this one. Waimea adds an herbal character.

On draft at Caps & Taps. It pours a lightly hazed pale orange/yellow color with a white head. The aroma is nice with florals, grapefruit and lime. Very fresh with hints of passionfruit. The flavor is the same. Light crackery malt, floral, grassy hops with stronger than average bitterness, at least for Cellarmaker. Overall, very enjoyable.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma is moderately malty with some nice pale cracker and white bread notes. Moderate hop notes of tropical fruit, melon and citrus. Pours a hazy, gold with a small, white head that lingers for quite some time on the edges. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor is moderately malty with some nice cracker, biscuit and white bread notes. Moderate bitterness. Bright hop notes of citrus, tropical fruit and melon. Some light resin character. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, another nice pale from Cellarmaker. I?m really digging their pale ale style with balanced, lighter malts and bright new age fruity hops.

The beer is a slightly orangey tan yellow color. It’s quite cloudy. Medium white head. Some lacing. The aroma has a nice sweet tropical fruit hoppiness with a little bit of crackery malt underneath. Hops could be a bit juicier. Grape, mango, sweet pineapple juice, strawberry, blackberry, tangerine. Good stuff. It’s moderately bitter. A bit grassy on the palate but the fruitiness is there. Pretty dry. Easy to drink. Refreshing. Light, dry feel with a lingering hop presence.

On tap at Apex, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Nose is very fresh, with quite a bit of funk, floral hops and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is similar, with funky notes, floral hops and biscuity malt. Smooth and drinkable. Really fresh and funky. Excellent.
