A refreshing IPA inspired by the classic West Coast style. This 5.5% IPA combines a blend of American and European malts, balanced with kettle additions of West Coast Chinook and Citra hops. It was then dry-hopped with even more Chinook, Citra, and Simcoe to create a hop-forward profile that remains incredibly drinkable. Perfect as an apres ski option as mountains look toward opening for the season.

Canned 11/27/24, drunk 1/9/25.
Lightly hazy, lemon-blonde-golden. Large, well-retained, white head.
Light and bright nose doesnt remind me anything of a West Coast IPA but that's fine! Grapefruit, lemon, black tea and a bit of pomelo and dainty honey. Very clean with no twang whatsoever.
Yeah, not sure what this has to do with a classic WC IPA, but again, not complaining because this is killer. Pomelo, tangelo, kumquat, kiwi, mild citrus....biscuit and well-attenuated honey-like notes from the malt gently balance and there's just enough bitterness.

Can. Aroma is spelt, soft hay, and minerals notes. Very unexpected for the aroma and the flavor follows. The hay and minerals win in the character and it shows no pine, Christmas tree or spruce. I was not expecting this and I am pleasantly surprised! Nice!

Can shared by CLW--thanks, Chris! Lightly hazy gold, light sparkle, ring of head, soapy lacing. Aroma strong pine, citrus, background malt. Taste is almost cocoa malt, later pine/citrus. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carb, crisp finish. Not typical West Coast IPA.
