0,33l from bottle bought from Beer for Bunnies, Bologna. BB 12/26. Black color, tiny tan head. smells roasty , earthy, cocoa, bitter chocolate, light vanilla, bit rubbery. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes earthy, leathery, spices, soy sauce, peppery, bit rubbery, milk chocolate. finishes light to medium roasty bitter with notes of soy sauce, spices and earthy notes. Just ok, weird combination of rubber notes and soy sauce

Bottle at home. Aroma is dark fruits, tart berries, roasted malt, touch of chocolate, wine, hint of soy sauce. Flavour is moderate sourish. Body is medium. Not bad, nut also not exactly what I’m looking for in an Imperial Porter.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks zvikar. Black, tan foam. Roast, chocolate, coffee, caramel, some oxidation, a bit of dark fruits, medium-bodied. Very light for an Imperial Porter.

Tap at Be.Re. in Rome-Italy. Deep black pour, little brownish foam with minimal retention. Nose: dark chocolate, under spirit cherries, alcohol, dusty in a way. Lovely. Mouth: a bit too frizzy although the tasta totally mirrors the great aroma. Totally. Like it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From 33 bottle. Pours dark brown, maybe dark plum, worth practically no foam. Aroma not particularly intense, with chocolate, cherries, vanilla. Body is very light for an 8-degree beer. Taste is relatively sweet, with just a hint of final bitterness. Finish is short.

Leighton’s flat clearance. Thanks to Leighton. Opaque dark brown beer, dark tan head. Palate is soft and airy, modest fine carbonation. Tangy fluffy dark malts. Dark chocolate. Tangy coffee. Dark fruits. Airy dry finish. Overall it’s a bit over tangy.
