Big bottle from a nice box with a Braunstein glass in it. slighly hazy yellow, smooth offwhite head. mild hoppy aroma, us hoppy, but fat and malty, not dry and herbal. Aroma leads me to think of the better barley wines i have tasted, so more in that direction than a crisp crazy hopped dipa. flavor is malty, flowery hoppy, strong, fat. full bodied, sweet malty, alc. burn that blends well in. pretty nice mix between barley wine and double ipa. you'll like this if you feel like a hoppy barley wine, but you might find it a tad sweet and malty if you feel like a hoppy dipa. It does taste really nice, not those bitter off flavors you might usually find in some double ipa's very clean in that respect. You'll get drunk with style with this one... ;-)

Bottle 75 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a lacing, white head. The nose is more herbal than hoppy. Rich, sweet, malty body, fruity, but also yeasty and somewhat phenollic - again with this herbal touch. A rich and powerful blonde ale, but a DIPA I wouldn't really call it. Totally lacking aroma hops. 220519
