Bottled. Copper colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is caramel, plum, liquorice, coffee and some mild alcohol sweetness. Flavour is alcohol, burnt sugar, some dried plum, figs and mild liquorice with some toast too.

Bottle 60 cl. Pours a clear amber with a small, creamy off-white head. Very rich and potent aroma, dried and overripe fruit, Belgian yeast. Rich body, again a lot of Belgian yeast, complex fruits and sugars with quite some booze in the finish. Never gets cloying. One of the best beers I've had from this brewery. 030918

Bottle 600ml. [ As Aarhus Sølvpilen ].Clear medium amber orange color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, sweet malt, pale malt, sugary, moderate yeasty, sweet yeast, marcipan malt - yeast, alcohol. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, sugary, candy, alcohol, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20160422]

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Clear dark golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, fruity and alcohol. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with warming alcohol. 220416
