Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 9 | Flavor - 9 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 8.5
11/4/2024. Served from the wood at the 11th Isle of Man Beer & Cider Festival. Pours clear very dark brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is toffee, malt, golden syrup, treacle, prunes, dates, plum, wood, boozy raisins. Medium sweetness and bitterness. Moderate body, thinner than expected, soft carbonation. Lacked a bit of body but otherwise really good.
