Cask @ Robin Hood, Pontefract. Black with a light-brown creamy head. Roasted malt loaded with caramels and toffee, with plenty of aroma too. As such it's a rich stout, somewhat sticky in its texture too.
On tap at Garforth Town FC bar - opaque black body with a short tan head. Sweetish black treacle taste, spicy at the back, some roasted notes underneath.

26/11/2024. Cask at The Cross Keys - Holbeck, Leeds. Cask Tuesday pint for £3.50 bargain. Pours close to black with a lasting frothy beige head. Aroma is chocolate, light roasted malt, caramel, vanilla custard, mild sticky toffee pudding notes. Expected something much sweeter but this was nicely balanced sweetness/bitterness, not at all cloying. Medium body, smooth, soft carbonation. Enjoyable pint.
