This beer got its name from a morning containing one frog, a hangover & the looming stress of trying to find a name for a brew. It's a long story to which we will leave you to fill in the blanks!
A post-modern bitter with heaps of crystal malts supplying a rich toffee & treacle malt backbone. Balanced by delicious hoppy notes of tangerine & orange.
No frogs were harmed in the making of this beer, we love frogs, & toads (we're inclusive)

Cask at the Red Lion in Cromer, where you can watch the seafront activity from its elevated position in the town. Glowing clear golden with a small head. Hopped golden style with lower end sweetness to proceedings.

20/11/2024. Cask at The Dove Street Inn Winter Beer Festival, Ipswich. Pours clear amber gold with a small frothy just off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, citrus, caramel, malt, slight buttery edge. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Soft carbonation. Some nice developing bitterness to finish. Pretty decent.
