12/11/2024. Can shared by SHIG, cheers! Pours close to black with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma is cocoa, chocolate, dark fruits, Fry’s Turkish Delight. Medium sweetness and curiously heavy tartness. Medium body, average carbonation. Nice aroma but not so enjoyable to taste.

Can shared at shigs place in Newport news Virginia. An oily dark black coloured pour with a fading mid tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, Turkish delight, woody roast, some black sugars, sweetness. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, and sour, soy sauce, prickly sour, woody roast liquorice green apple. Little bit sour. Palate is tangy sour, prickly, but fucked. Some orange and chocolate.

Can: Poured a deep black with a beige head. Aroma is vanilla, boozy, chocolate, rich malts. Taste is tart forward, loads of cocoa, malty.

Can at SHIG place tasting, thanks to the SHIG, 16/04/23. Black with a thin khaki head. Nose is cacao nibs, charr, tangy dark fruit rinds, vinous, herb. Taste comprises tarte fruit rinds, cocoa powder, mellow barrel, vinous, tangy dried fruit esters. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a spike of alcohol. So so ... disjointed and overly tangy.
