22/10/2024. Draft at Craft Beer Market. Toranomon, Tokyo. Pours slightly hazy mid-dark brown with a small off-white to beige head. Aroma is heavily malted, sweet fruits, rye bread, treacle, toffee, biscuit, slight smoked edge. Quite heavy sweetness to begin, with moderate developing bitterness. Medium body, smooth, soft carbonation. Chewy sweet malt finish. Quite true to style.
