Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, flowers, light apple. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, flowers, pale malt, fruity malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle @ Home. Pours golden with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, grass, fruity hops, ripe apples. Flavor is light sweet, malt, light caramel, grass, sweet fruity hops, apples. Medium body, average carbonation, light sweet finish. 230416

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, malt, hops and has a sweet light bitter finish.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. boring.

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Clear dark golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and light fruity. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 220416

Nice brown body and hints of nut on the nose. Okay sweet malt flavour. Mouthfeel could use a little more oomph. Not bad if you intend to drink litres and litres of it.

Draft - Grains, malt and biscuit on the nose. Clear gold with a minimal head. Tastes just like it smells with some hop bitterness and spice. I am not partial to this style but it was drinkable.

Dark hazy amber with a dissipating off white head. Malty aroma with sharp little lactic points. In mouth, sweet caramel malt with some light acidity, but still pleasant, with some nuttyness. Beer was obtained end of Nov. 2005, so not that old, so it may be a bit off. Thanks Piscator.

This is a great Marzen. Liquid Autumn color, hints of spicy hops with a nice malt backbone. Best example of an Oktoberfest beer in Canada. Available on draught in limited quanitities.
