50cl bottle from a trade with fonefan, many thanks! Pours clear deep reddish brown colour with a huge good lasting off-white head. Aroma of dark and red malt, spruce, raisins. Taste of dark roasted malt, chocolate, some coffee, spruce and raisins.

KRS 040516. Amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is nuts, roasted malt, caramel. Flavour is is nuts, roasted malt, pine, caramel, herbs, coffee. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Caramellish nose with a slight roastiness. Medium body, roasty accents, a little nutty with a rough, unrefined late bitterness. Nowhere near a Black IPA, I would call it a Brown Ale, and a rather poor one. 200616

Aroma: roasted malt and caramel. Flavour: sweet fruits and caramel with a rather dry bitter finish. Colour: murky brown with a white head. From: Menu Viborgvej Aarhus May 2016.

Bottle. An unclear dark brown beer with a finger-thick beige head. Toffee, roasted malts, some coffee and a hint of bonfire and dried figs in the aroma. Rye bread, toffee, roasted malts, coffee and some figs in the flavor. Some sweetness, but well balanced by the bitterness. Full to medium body with a soft carbonation. Long bready, toffeeish finish. A nice beer that probably would be even better with dark rye bread and liverpaste. Hard to pin style wise, sort of like a blend of stout and brown ale. 160504

Pours reddish brown brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, chocolate and cocoa. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long sweet chocolate, cocoa and caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft. Very far from a black ipa more like a brown ale.

Bottle 500ml. @ home. [ As Svaneke Handfood Bad Boy ].Clear medium to dark brown amber color with a average to large, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, light nutty dusty, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit, orange - citrus, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, nutty dusty, hoppy, fruity, hop bitter, earthy notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter bfinish. Oily palate.

Bottle @ Menu. Shared with Pops and Ronnemos1. Pours amber brown with a small white head. Bread, sweet toffee and a whisper of strawberry marmelade and nuts. Medium bodied. Short bitter finish.
