Keg at the Bootlegger, 14/09/18. Pale golden blonde with a well presented off white head. Nose is mellow citric peel, yeast, straw, light white peppery spice. Taste comprises grassy bite, Belgian candied fruits, light spice, stale bread, mellow yeast esters, stewed fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stuff .... not something I'd likely revisit but ticks the Belgian style boxes.

Cask at the Grouse & Ale, Lane End, Bucks. Glowing gold thin white head. Sweet and fruity with orange banana and lemon. Then buttery with leafy hops. Overall it's interesting but a bit odd - too sweet and buttery, and the leafy hops clash a little. Nice to see Rebellion doing something different for a change (and I hope they continue to try more different styles going forward), but this beer needs a little more work.
