Cask at the Bootlegger, 10/02/17. Dark mahogany brown with a well appointed light beige head. Nose is earthy fruits, liquorice, spice, light wood. Taste is earthy, treacle toffee, light spice, tobacco, red berry tang. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent mild.

Cask at Bootlegger, High Wycombe. Hurrah- the 2nd mild of the night- didn’t expect that in February! This one’s brown with a beige head. Roasty malt and chocolate with some buttery-ness and a hint of dry red wine. Decent stuff and better than I expected from this brewery.
