330ml bottle from Brewer’s Stall at Good Food Festival, NEC - Hazy brown body, no head. Nose is winter spices, cinnamon, toffee and nutmeg. Sweet and a bit cloying, but the spices clean this off. Fairly pleasant and warming beer.

Bottle at home. Pours orange, nose is toffee, pumpkin, vanilla, biscuity, spiced, taste has some spice and pumpkin but a bit thin.

Bottle from the brewer’s own stand at the Good Food Show at Birmingham NEC. Rather a dull pale amber. A thin, cardboardy ale with a load of rather harsh nutmeg and cinnamon thrown in, possibly to disguise the poor underlying beer. It needs a richer, maltier beer to work with these spices. Overall this is a bit of a mess I’m afraid, it’s not working at all for me.
