Fleur-de-lis Restoration Ale is made with English Pale, Lager, Crystal and Cara Pils malted barley. We liberally hopped and dry hopped our Ale with American Cascade and Centennial hops and fermented it with California Ale yeast. The result is a brilliant gold ale with a rich body, mild bitterness and a snappy fresh citrus hop flavor and aroma.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops, hay, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, citrusy hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Amber-gold with a nice, light tan head. Scent is caramel malt, grassy. Taste is moderately sweet, grassy hops, malt, bread. Very smooth hopping... Easy.

Bottle. Citrus and piney hops, and bready malt aroma. Hazy golden with a moderate white head, some spotty lacing. Bready malt and light citrus and herbal hops flavor. Light body, moderate carbonation. I usually approach Abita with fear and trepidation, but this wan’t too bad.

12oz bottle of Abita Restoration Pale Ale from Wegman’s, King of Prussia, PA. Pours a pale gold with a loose white head; fresh hoppy aroma; light and fresh hoppy taste with a touch of citrus, gentle to start but exploding in the mouth; leaving a long dry finish with a touch of sweetness. Very good indeed, perhaps better described as a Light IPA.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best by 9/27/2012. Pours hazy golden amber color with a nice 2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Some spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass as well. Aromas of grapefruit, orange zest, pine, herbal, floral, caramel, honey, and bread. Pretty nice aromas with good strength and balance. Taste of grapefruit, orange, pine, herbal, grass, floral, caramel, bread, and cracker. Lingering notes of citrus, herbal, pine, cracker, and caramel on the finish for a short bit. Good flavor balance; with a good bitterness/malt balance as well. Feels watered down though. Medium carbonation and body; with a nice crisp and smooth mouthfeel. Alcohol is well hidden with pretty much no warming noticed at all after the finish. Extremely easy to drink. Overall this is a nice pale ale. Feels a bit watered down; but still has a good hop and malt flavor profile. An enjoyable offering, very sessionable.

bottle - Pours slightly hazy gold. It has a light, bready malt aroma with a hint of caramel. The flavor has mild to moderate hops bitterness and sweet, bland malt. I found it underwhelming but drinkable.
