Fleur-de-lis Restoration Ale is made with English Pale, Lager, Crystal and Cara Pils malted barley. We liberally hopped and dry hopped our Ale with American Cascade and Centennial hops and fermented it with California Ale yeast. The result is a brilliant gold ale with a rich body, mild bitterness and a snappy fresh citrus hop flavor and aroma.

Thanks kajzer for sharing this with us! At Pivoteka. Slightly misty orange/amber body with a thick white head. Malt-driven aroma, orange rock candy. Taste... light, nice orange rock candy, no bitterness and almost no aftertaste. Oof. Not sure how it is fresh, but I guess this one has taken a blow from the travel. Still proved to be better than the other Abitas I’ve had that day.

355ml bottle. Barely clear, golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Perfumed, herbal and floral, hoppy aroma, biscuity, pale malty background, some lemon biscuit. Taste is crisp hoppy, slighty grassy, floral, some lemon, a minimally perfumed touch of bath salt. Nicely hopped, quite OK.

Tap @Buns Burger, San Juan. Hazy orange color, good creamy off-white head. Herbal, grassy hoppy aroma. Light-bodied. Grassy, hoppyness with light fruityness. Short finish. Ok with food, otherwise boring and watery.

Cask version at Winking Lizard’s 6th Annual Real Ale Fest (03/22/14): Hazy golden color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Light-bodied and creamy with flavors of grassy hops, bready malt and fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a short fruit hops aftertaste. Average overall.

Bottle from Bert’s Pours a slightly hazy light golden color with a decent sized white head and minimal lace. Aromas of pine and grapefruit are evident as soon as I pry off the cap. Bready caramel malt with a hint of sulfur provides a base for the aroma. The flavor is bready caramel with lots of light juicy fruits. Hop flavors are rather mute with a light level of hop bitterness. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. Smells like there might be some hops, but they must have turned to fruit. Easy drinking mild pale ale that I could easily session if I weren’t always looking for more hops.
