Cask at the George & Dragon, West Wycombe. Pale amber with a thin white head. Soapy lemon up front. The soap fortunately fades a little (although not completely) to leave lemon milkshake with a crisp dry finish. Definitely one of Rebellion’s poorer monthly specials.

Clear golden orange with a decent off white covering that retains well. Nose is pale malt, straw, buttery popcorn, lemon drizzle cake. Taste comprises citric zest, soft bread, trace of melon, no buttery notes as per Nose, grain, crackers, lemon rind. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Adequate golde.
