Cloudy brown with a large fluffy tan head. Bitter and rough with fruity hops, pine, sugar, and citrus. Long finish. Full body.

OK, this is like helicon in its almost nakedness. Yes, a big bold high alky ale that wants to kick your straight up ass. Like Bertha! Its a muddy looking dark brown brew. No hint of rudeness on the nose. Thin head coats the sides of the glass. Strong rude ass first impression on the palate. Very much like many american wannah bee BW but, its got this big fricken tankard IPA bitter bunch of blast associated with it. I don't think that even aging can help this bastard.Who knows? What does old IPA taste like? heheheh. Cannot enjoy this brew, way too much cloying bitter impact and alky. Perhaps it should be a strong ale ror an IPA? No warming tho. I don't care for this style nor a fresh one but some of these need to be aged to make them like J.W. Lees Harvest Ale (Lagavulin) or even O'Hanlon's Thomas Hardy's Ale (2003 - 2008). How could those brews even be in the same category as this happy BS?
