Very dark root-beer color. Strong perfumy vanilla or similar aroma. First taste is burnt dark chocolate liquid mixture, whew. Comes across more like 9%! I think they got the alky content wrong on this one. Not too sure for the tropical unless there is coconut flavored anise liquor in there, whew. Calming sensation or is that an alarming sensation, you know, the dizzying effects and such? Strong big nasty nellie, whew! I think vanilla and coconut now? All aged and soaked in barrels that previously held alky? Ethanol? What-ever, this probably should be in the imperial stout style; get the message? Whew, did I say whew? If you really like imperial stout, get this now before its gone! Way too much for this lager lover. If you like impy stout or strong stout, ignore my numbers. Whew!
