So cool can. I couldn't find it in the database because I kept punching in fuzzy. So bitter, annoyingly bitter, up front. Makes my mouth feel like oil coated rubber. Difficult, in yer face, wants to kick my ass. 5.5%? No way, its got to be at least 7. Thick sticky feel in the middle of my tongue. Did you ever drink or eat ground up fermenting unripe green citrus rind sprinkled with turpentine? What else can be said? This is one ass kicking jaw jacking brew. Terribly on style, taste makes me think it s double imperial india ale. IPA lovers, this is a must have for your basket. Considering its odd sides, I really can't find any hint of tartness what so ever.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a semi-hazy burnt orange to bronzed amber color with a cap of a little white foamy head. Fairly quick dissipation, sly messy lace.
The aroma had some citrus to floral sweet and bitter portions, sweet grassy notes, subtle malt base and a touch of sweet and spicy rye. Light earthiness.
The flavor had a touch of the citrus sweet side melding into the floral crisp sweetness. Rye spice and sweetness does gain a nice little kick right before the aftertaste which was rye sweet and spicy. Finish was spicy and sweet, rye and floral.
The palate was roughly medium bodied with a good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt good. Rye harshness was balanced appropriately through the malt base that I noticed in the aroma.
Overall, really nice rye beer that I would have again.

On tap at Odd Side. Body is a clear deep golden amber with a thin film of head. Aromas are muted with a little hops and not much else. Flavor is decent but not my favorite. Hops are kind of all over the place... Tropical fruit, earthy spice, grass and citrus. That said it doesn’t take a firm stand on where it wants to go. At least that’s how I feel today about it. Maybe I’m too fussy.
