Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark brown color with a light red hue and a medium sized foamy beige head that left decent lacing. The aroma was malty with black currant, plum and a bit of booziness. The flavor was toasty with whiskey, black currant, plum, cracker and a bit of booziness. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

The best tasting quad I have ever had! Quite dark but not black, just cloudy brown. Smells a little like cola. Yes, certainly a bold alky feel but its nothing like 10% would indicate. Yes, a beer just like the real thing from the old country, I was quite pleasantly surprised. Very tasty as well. Probably one of the best domestic quads I've had. Not rude and obtuse like so many of the domestic rude ass quads. Good stuff, even has some co2 that makes it so enjoyable. Good job BF! You guys know what yer doing. Impressed.
