Alpha Initiative is a playground for our brewers to explore, create, and analyze all things IPA. Pilot #2 is bursting with the grapefruit, pine and resin aromas and flavors of Citra and Simcoe hops –both familiar varieties but in a brand-new form. Only the lupulin gland of the hop is pelletized, resulting in the most concentrated hop pellet available right now.

Had this draft at bowsers, nice place to sample beers. Pale yellow. Mild IPA perfume nose. Initial mild IPA bitterness. Some dull rubbery taste, typical with most IPA. However, the bitter bite tends to get on your nerves and build. Yes, now its becoming and IPA. Sticks in the back of your throat. Very little if any co2. Not as rude as most IPA but it is not an APA fer sher. Its simply bitter without being over the top. OK, so it is yer typical ubiquitous IPA in the end with a few additional pointers.
