Cask at the William Webb Ellis (JDW), Twickenham - 30/09/12. Slightly hazed golden with a thin white head. Nose comprises pale malt, a little grain, light fruit and a touch of vinegar. Tastes of slightly soured orchard fruits, apples, a little spice. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation leading to a bitter finish, Average and dull together at last !

Cask at the Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet. Amber with a dense cream head; aroma of English hops; crisp, hoppy flavour with a grainy body; the finish is fairly sweet with more hops. Not what I’d expect from a Harvest Ale, but rather good anyway.
