Gravity dispense at the 12th Egham Beer Festival - 16/08/12. Clouded brown with a small off-white head. Roasted malts on the nose, toffee, butterscotch/diacetyl. Taste follows nose with an earthy nutty flavour. Medium body. Not the best!

Cask handpull at The Bowl, Hastingleigh. Very dark brown beer with thin beige head. Aroma of smoke and chocolate. Very smokey in mouth, almost aggressively harsh smokiness that dominates the other flavours. It’s quite full on as a beer for flavour. Some choc comes through, not much coffee or hop. Just very harsh smoke throughout.
