440ml can from Left Field Beer, Solihull. Poured almost black in colour with a mostly lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty, creamy, chocolate. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter and sweet, with a smooth, rich, roasty, sweet chocolate, red berry fruits, light coffee, light sweet vanilla, liquorice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

28/1/2025. Keg at The Dead Crafty Beer Company, Liverpool. Pours close to black with minimal head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malts, vanilla, chocolate, caramel, dark fruits. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with some developing tartness. Medium body, prickly carbonation. Roasted coffee finish. Good.
