KØLF 020617. Black color with a brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. flavor is dry, oat, licorice, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Very nice beer.

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, licorice and molasses. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long roasted, licorice and chocolate finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

35cl Can from Plovmand, thanks Thomas! Doesn’t mention any ABV. Pitch black colour, beige-brown head. Aroma is sweet, chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, some molasses, mocha. Flavour is quite sweet, pralines, coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, light fruity, firm bitter finish, hint of berries. Medium to full bodied. Starts out nice, becomes a bit cloying after a while. Certainly good though.

Can@Hotel Room, Copenhagen, during CBC2016. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is oatmeal, some nutty notes, wood, toffee and mild liquorice. Flavour is liquorice, some toffee and mild wooden notes. Also a slight bit of toasted notes.

Can 35,5 cl. Pours thick, opaque black with a small, light brown head. Roasty, tarry nose, dark dried fruits, a little sweet licorice. Medium body, lowish carbonation, really rich flavours, loads of overripe dry fruits, but mellow and never bitter. Very pleasant. 290816

Can sample at a tasting at Stas’s place. Thanks Stas. Black with a nice brown head. Aroma of roast, coffee, dark chocolate, some dark fruits. Sweetish and slightly sourish flavor with roast, dark chocolate, mocha, some coffee, and a bitterish finish. Rounded mouthfeel. Really good.
