Nose is liquid fruit cake, figs, dates, prunes, toffee, mellow bourbon.
Taste comprises molasses, bourbon spike, booze, toffee fudge, dates, raisins, brown sugar melt.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Solid sipper.

Bottle shared at high Wycombe fancy pants tasting. Many thanks to the team. A opaque black brown coloured pour with a a halo of dark tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, meaty roast, liquorice, meaty, hazelnut, v. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, oily, dark chocolate, peanut butter, hazelnut, Warming alcohol., fudge.

ADTWD team tasting in sunny Halzlemere. Near opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head that doesn't last. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light bodied malts, cream and caramel not that sweet, a little toffee. Smooth but rich bourbon, spicy, fair bit of ripe fruity bourbon. Smooth finish. Rich if fairly standard bba bw

22oz bottle pours out cola brown topped with a tan head. Nose is nice sweet caramel malts toffee some bourbon barrel notes vanilla. Taste is more of the nice sweet caramel toffee malts bourbon barrel and some pitfruit.

On tap at the brewery. Pours very dark brown. Toffee, raisin, dark chocolate, bourbon, nutty, sultanas, vanilla, dulce de leche. Nice oily body. Outstanding.

On tap at Cycle, pours a deep dark brown, almost no head. Aroma is super rich, with intense bourbon barrels, dark sugars, brown sugar, and molasses. Flavour is absurdly rich, decadent, and complex, with huge bourbon barrel character, brown sugar, dark dried fruits, and molasses. The bourbon depth here is incredible. Everything is refined and in perfect proportion. Wonderful.
