Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear yellow with a small, rough white head. Flowery hop aroma. Medium body, a dry, clean maltiness, slightly metallic with a solid, finishing bitterness. 251125

Schnitzlbaumer Edelpils, Fläschchen aus dem Brauereiverkauf in Traunstein (von dem ein Aufzug zur in der Oberstadt gelegenen Gaststätte hinaufführt). - Goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase getreidig-süßes helles Malz und nur milde, leicht limonadenartige zitrusfruchtige Hopfung. - Antrunk schlank mit beträchtlicher, stark zitroniger Hopfenherbe, die in kräftige grasige Bittere übergeht. Für die getreidige Malzsüße bleibt nur wenig Raum. Milder rezent. Im Abgang solide aber aromatisch einseitige Hopfenherbe. Langer, derb zitronenschalenbitterer Nachtrunk. - Für ein bayerisches Pilsner fällt die Hopfung recht kernig aus, ist aber aromatisch arg eindimensional und geradezu derb. Gut als Essensbegleiter. Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Grasig hopfiger, malziger Geruch. Geschmacklich grasig hopfig, brotig, malzig. Leicht süß mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, leichter Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Clear pale golden, mid sized head. Quite intense grassy, floral nose. Dry with light body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Grass and bread. Mid bitter finish.

Bottle (KCM Pori Mikkola). Honeyish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is grassy, herbal, some mild vegetably tones (not in a bad way here) with also bready tones. Flavour is floral, grassy, some mild herbal notes with some sweetness.

Golden colour, small white head. Grassy, herbal pils aroma. Light-bodied. Herbal and grassy hoppyness, touch of metal. Quite typical Bavarian pils.

A golden beer, a head is white and medium. Aroma has maltyness, some grain and sweetness of honey. Taste has maltyness, some grain and grass, some bitterness and dry enough. Medium bodied. Pretty nice beer.

Appearance: Clear pale gold with a tall off-white frothy head of good retention. Aroma: Crackers, barley, noble hop. Taste: Clean and crisp, Medium dry. Good malt & hop. Light to medium bitter in the ending with growing aftertaste bitterness. Mouth feel: Light to medium body, appropriate carbonation. Summary: Absolutely satisfying.
