Mit bayrischen Pils-Bieren tue ich mir nachwievor recht schwer, da ich einfach die klassischen deutschen Industrie-Pils aus den anderen Bundesländern gewohnt bin. Dieses war eindeutig bitterer als diese und überhaupt wirkte es intensiver. Im EInstig war es mir zu brutal, aber dann hinten raus konnte es dann doch noch erfreuen. Dieses Pils hat seine Stärken, aber wirklich rund läuft es nicht.

Optisch strahlend hellgoldgelb mit kräftiger mittelgrober Perlage. Die weiße, mittel- bis grobporige Schaumkrone gibt sich flaumig, gut stabil und sehr gut haltbar. Im Duft leicht süßlich-malzig, erinnert ein wenig an Keksteig. Dazu leicht würzig und fein grasig bis kräuterartig hopfig. Der Antrunk kommt angenehm weich-rezent, frisch und wirkt leicht süßlich, sowie etwas säuerlich zitrusartig. Am Gaumen leicht säuerlich-herb und etwas adstringierend. Das wirkt im ersten Moment zwar erfrischend, ist dann aber doch zu dominant, da Malzaroma und Würze praktisch völlig ausbleiben. So macht dieses Bier einen sehr schlanken und eher dünnen Einduck. Die Haptik, das Mundgefühl leidet leider sehr darunter und die Süffigkeit wäre dabei als mäßig einzustufen. Im Abgang baut sich in kurzer Zeit die Säure ab. Danach macht sich mehr und mehr eine ganz angenehme, leicht trockene, leicht florale bis kräuterartige Hopfenaromatik breit. Fazit: guter Start, gutes Finish, magerer Mittelteil.

Draft at Malt in Fossa, Sogliano al Rubicone, Italy. Pours classic pils gold with good very fine white foam. Aroma is intense of cereal and floral. Body is thin with average carbonation. Taste is moderately bitter with some initial sweetness. Finish is average.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Strawy malty and slightly doughy mose with a grassy hoppy background. Slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Strawy malty base with grassy hoppy notes, getting slightly metallic towards the finish. Exchangeable. 09.I.18

Tap @ AmarilloBar, Ancona. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are grass, straw, malt, flowers, hops and has a light bitter finish.

Tap at Amarillo, Ancona. Pours almost clear golden with a small lasting white head. Aroma of grain, caramel, stale bread, grass and straw. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Light body, oily texture, soft carbonation.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Schnitzlbaumer Edel-Pils ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, light grain, moderate hoppy, grass, flowers. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, flowers, pale malt, fruity malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160210]

Herb grasiger Antrunk, frisch. Die Herbe bleibt aromatisch, der Hopfen mild unterstützend. Spritzig bitterer Mittelteil, was sich zum Ende intensiviert. Aroma has harsh buttery tones, some grass and grainy malt. Feels a bit off. Flavour has grainy malt, some grass and harsh butter. Finishes with mint and menthol. Not that good.
