Clear, bright yellow color with a small white head; aroma of compote, hint of pickle; somewhat smooth palate; balanced flavor with a long, light bitter finish

On tap at the brewery. Pours pale gold. Spicy, pickle, grain, salty, quite savory, a slight smokiness, a nice pickleness. Medium body. Silly but I like it.

12 oz can from Total Wine, San Antonio, TX. Pours a crystal clear gold color with a fizzy white head and poor retention. No lacing. Looks and smells like a regular (salty) lager. Initial flavor of a wierd salty lager and then quickly dominated by a strong, spicy hot pepper flavor. Slick mouthfeel. Why do people purposely ruin beer? This is an abomination. I can't finish it. Drain pour.
