A dark, delicious Imperial Porter brewed to commemorate Bounday Bay’s 300th batch. At 9.2% ABV this well attenuated Porter is deceivingly strong, silky smooth and "as black as a place that light hath never shone uponeth," according to our brewer Aaron Smith.

Sampled on tap at Boundary Bay Brewpub, pours black with a tan head. Aroma of espresso, roasted malt and burnt caramel. Very burnt flavour, in a good way, of burnt roasted malt, burnt espresso and a slight peaty character - noticeable hoppy finish along with these burnt notes, which balances very nicely. Wonderful.

Black, fast fading tan head.Sweet alcoholic nose.Starts both dry & sweet. Big roast profile, medium alcohol heat. Big roast bitterness in finish.Nothing special here, alcohol is too prevalent
