Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Hazy dark-blond color. Light aroma, dirty water, malt, fruity esters, bubblegum. Average body strength, malt flavor, dirty water again, strong bitterness, light yeast fruitiness, lightly sweet, a bit boozy.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy yellow with a thin head. Sweet aroma of dough and a good balance of hops/malts. Flavour is sweet dough, with a smooth palate. Quite solid.

Draft, Alibi Room. Hazy golden-sandy colour. Very thin head. The aroma has a phenolic accent but also some slightly doughy, bready pale malts. Phenolic character, some heavy pale malts that come close to being plasticy and cloying. Slight apple notes and slight alcohol. For me, an okay rendition that misses the major pitfalls (not too phenolic or cloying) but also misses the major selling points (dryness, subtle yeast) of the style.
