32 oz. growler, sent from Elliesbrown (thanks a lot, Zack!), pours a cloudy orangey amber with a small white head. The apple brandy comes out huge on the nose, with no IPA characteristics coming through. Flavour brings out a lot of barrels, loads of woody notes, apple brandy, very liqueur-ish, and no IPA traits at all, despite the dry-hopping. Very boozy and hot, the alcohol certainly not concealed at all. A very slow-sipping beer, that brings out its complexity the more you drink. I'd say it's a sipping beer, though there were only a few kegs of this so I'll never have it again, but very solid one-off - but too hot.
