Backlog entry. On tap at the brewery pours out dark brown topped with a small sand head. Nose is lots of spice chocolate some ginger cinnamon. Taste is more spice cinnamon some black licorice chocolate and more big spices.

Sampled on tap at Cascade Brewpub, pours a dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma of anise, cinnamon, ginger and chocolate. Flavour of chocolate and anise upfront, with some dark spices and mild roasted notes. Finishes with licorice and mild chocolate. Decent.

On tap at the Barrel House. Pours a dark brown color with a medium white head. The aroma is rich spices and chocolate. The flavor is unusual in some sense, rich sweet spices, chocolate and caramel. Decent, not a huge fan of big spices.
