Cask at Mr Grundy’s, Derby. Pours a bright yellow with a sizeable white head and good lacing. Has an aroma of summer fruits, chiefly apples. Texture is rather watery, and flavours in the mouth are dominated by malts and sharp crisp apples. There are hints of general citrus too. After all that, the finisah is surprisingly bitter. Quaffable, but rather one dimensional.
